Houston, We Have a Problem!

I saw a TV commercial recently portraying the command center during the countdown for a NASA mission launch.

The countdown was interrupted several times to change the mission on the launch pad based on what was trending on social media.

Unbelievable, right?

Or is it exactly what the Church is facing in our day?

Is our mission being changed during the countdown by what we see trending in our culture?

In the midst of Israel’s darkest hour, in the days of the prophet Jeremiah, God warned the people to return to the “ancient paths” (Jeremiah 6:16).

Unfortunately, then as now, the voice of the prophet wasn’t trending that well!
