Pastors’ Prayer Gathering in Olympia, WA

I believe that God wants to bring revival to Church of Jesus and that revival begins with us as pastors and Christian leaders as we humble ourselves and pray.

One of the most important things we can do as pastors, for ourselves, our families and our congregations is to spend time in prayer, both individually and corporately. Unfortunately, with the demands placed on all of us, it’s one of the first things to go.

In a national survey, only 15% of pastors said they were satisfied with their prayer lives.
Many pastors spend less than 30 minutes a day in prayer.
Over 75% of pastors said they experience high levels of stress as related to their ministry.

With this in mind, Pastor Jon Cobler of Church of Living Water Foursquare Church in Olympia and I are delighted to join together in an invitation to pastors throughout the Puget Sound area to join together with other pastors from all denominations for a pastors’ prayer gathering on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Church of Living Water, 1615 Chambers Street SE in Olympia, WA

There is no cost to attend. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Our only agenda is for pastors to come together and call on the Lord for the pastors of our state, the churches of our state, for the government of cities, state and nation and then also take time to pray for one another and those needs that characterize the life of a pastor.

It’s Pastor Jon’s and my desire that you come away from this time of prayer, rejuvenated and encouraged so that you can go back and minister in the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

Please let us know if you plan on attending this event by sending your RSVP to info@churchawakening.com. For more information about Church Awakening or about the Pastors’ Prayer Gathering, visit our website at churchawakening.com.

  1. I was really desirous to come to the Prayer Meeting for Pastors on April 26 but it will be taking place at the same time we are having our Annual Conference (Assemblies of God) in Yakima, Washington. I request that the pastor’s gathered together would pray for a mighty move of God at our Annual Conference that would have Pastor’s returning home refreshed and hungry for a mighty move of God in our churches.
May God bless you Pastor Alec and those who have the vision for gathering our pastors together for prayer.
