PASTORS’ PRAYER INTENSIVE – OCTOBER 2 & 3, 2017

Why do so many of us battle with prayerlessness? Maybe because we’re not sure that prayer changes anything; Maybe because we believe that doing and praying are two opposite things; Maybe because we’ve been taught that the best we can hope for out prayer is that it changes us. So we relegate the few people who do pray to a back room because we are not convinced prayer is effective. We run and pour our energies into visible strategies and activities for ministry that makes us feel better because we are doing something. If Jesus said that He could do nothing except what He saw His Father doing, how can we expect to make any difference until we have called on His Name and spent time in His council chamber to know His heart?
